All personnel requesting card/key access to Atkinson Hall must first complete the Atkinson Hall Orientation and any other necessary training, depending on access needed (see links below for training).  Individuals working in a laboratory are required to complete Laboratory Safety (EHS 2555), Chemical Waste Disposal (EHS 2716) and Fire Safety (EHS-5330) training prior to beginning work in the lab. Additional training such as Laser Safety (EHS-2397), Radiation Safety (EHS-2344), and Bloodborne Pathogens (EHS-1070) may be required based on anticipated use.

The access request form below and accompanying instructions must be used for new students, staff or faculty in order to gain key or card access to Atkinson Hall. Sections 1 and 2 should be filled out before attending the Atkinson Hall Orientation session. Sections 3 and 4 must be completed and the form (along with your Workday certificates) returned to the Atkinson Hall Administrative Coordinator via email at atkinson-access@cornell.edu or in person at room 101 in order for card access to be set up. Atkinson Hall Orientation (RSRCH-AHFS 1001):  Please register for this course in Workday Learning at https://www.myworkday.com/cornell/learning.  This course is a Zoom session and the link to attend can be found in Workday in the Class Materials section.  These are live sessions.  The Zoom link will not work until the date and time of the session you are registered for.
