Lactation Room
Cornell University provides reasonable time away from work for lactating mothers in its employ to express breast milk. The Biotech building offers a Lactation Room (G52B) for this purpose, located in the Ground level of Biotech.
Directions: Enter Biotech from lower lobby level. Enter hallway on the right, near the women’s restroom. Turn right to follow the hallway until the end, turn left, and the first door on the left is G54 (the entry point to the room). Follow signs into area directly ahead, leading to G52B. Convenient and private, the Lactation Room is a quiet place designated specifically for nursing mothers.

A refrigerator, sink, cleaning supplies, microwave and a comfortable chair are provided in the room. We ask that users:
- Tidy up the area or room after its use
- Provide own pump, adapter, and accessories
